Our Professional Staff

Our experienced providers are committed to a high standard of patient care and are here for you throughout every stage of your hearing journey.

An Inclusive Practice

While other mobile practices may have trailers or vans, Dr. Rachel realized that they weren’t going to be practical options for Minnesota weather since it doesn’t remove the issue that it’s hard to walk on ice! So instead, she comes to you with calibrated equipment to test hearing, fit you with hearing aids, clean your devices, and more.

We strive to create a comfortable and safe environment for everyone choosing us to provide them with excellent hearing services. We will respect your pronouns, preferred name, and religious beliefs. We commit a portion of our annual continuing education be in the area of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Meet Our Audiologist

Rachel Allgor

Audiologist

Dr. Rachel grew up in Hastings, MN and while she received her doctorate at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ, she knew that Minnesota was still home.

She has a passion for helping others hear their best because she knows exactly how it feels to miss the punchline of a joke or have to “smile and nod” to get through a conversation because it was simply too noisy.

There is a lot of emotion surrounding hearing whether it’s through listening to others around you or rocking out to your favorite music, and hearing loss can have a major impact on your ability to connect with the world around you. That’s why Dr. Rachel is so invested in helping others hear their best!

Meet Our Team

Theresa Lewzader

Patient Care Coordinator

I've spent over 35 years working in just about every corner of the medical field, and one thing has always stayed the same-my love for connection with patients.  That connection is what lead me to discover a real passion for helping people with hearing loss.  There's something incredibly rewarding about helping someone hear more clearly and feel more connected to the world around them.

Over the years, I've gained a wide range of experience, but it's the personal side of care that's always meant the most to me.  I truly enjoy making a difference in people's lives, whether it's through support, education, or just listening to their stories.  This experience has shaped my approach to patient care, where empathy and excellence go hand in hand.

When I'm not working, you'll probably find me outside gardening, working on a woodworking project, or camping somewhere peaceful.  It's those simple joys that keep me grounded and bring balance to the busy pace of healthcare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still need in-office visits if I do concierge hearing care?

While many follow-up appointments and hearing aid adjustments can be completed remotely, some services—such as hearing evaluations, ear examinations, or new hearing aid fittings—are best performed in person. We’ll help you determine which visits can be handled remotely.

Can older adults use remote hearing care?

Of course! Many older adults enjoy the convenience of remote hearing care, especially if traveling is difficult or if they are traveling to see grandkids and friends. Our team provides simple instructions and support to make the technology easy to use, and family members are always welcome to assist during appointments. Just give us a call at (651) 661-1052 to set up a remote hearing care appointment.

Can patients outside Hastings receive remote hearing aid support?

Absolutely! If you move, if your hearing aids came from us, or your hearing aids are compatible with our remote programming, we can often provide ongoing support even if you live or move outside of Hastings. We can also do this if you are temporarily away from home and traveling. We’ll let you know if your devices are eligible and if we see any concerns with servicing your location remotely or via telehealth. Contact us by phone today to get more information. Just give us a call at (651) 661-1052.

Can snowbirds receive hearing aid adjustments while traveling?

Yes! We absolutely love our snowbird patients and happily serve our patients a they travel with a variety of needs. One of the biggest benefits of remote hearing care is that many hearing aid programming adjustments can be completed while you’re away from Minnesota. Whether you’re spending the winter in Arizona, Florida, or elsewhere, we’re often able to help you stay connected without interrupting your travels.
